We are on the state road that leads from Cortina to Dobbiaco 3 km after Fiames, if you are coming from Dobbiaco about 10 km after the Cimabanche pass, take a small road in the woods near the hairpin bend in the St. Uberto area.
BY CAR
From the parking lot of St. Hubertus, also called "tornichè", it is possible to drive along the paved road of about 3km up to the Malga with your own car, except in the months of July and August when the road is closed by the Natural Park of the Dolomites d'Ampezzo. In this period a shuttle service is available, offered by private individuals for a fee, departing from Fiames.
For info on the shuttle service, contact the Rules or Park information office www.dolomitiparco.com
In winter, when it snows, leave the car in the parking lot and go up the beaten road so you can walk (ramps recommended),with snowshoes or mountaineering skis.
HIKING
From the St. Hubertus car park, also known as "tornichè", to the left of the paved road, path no. 6 ("low path") starts in the direction of Malga Ra Stua. Following the route you will be able to admire glimpses of fairy-tale pine, fir and larch woods within the Ampezzo Dolomites Natural Park and follow the course of the Boite stream with its crystal clear waters and breathtaking waterfalls until you reach Malga Ra Stua.
Again starting from the St. Hubertus car park, it is also possible to reach the Malga by following the "high path", after 200 meters past the barrier that closes the paved road. after the first ascent, it is possible to take the path on the right.
From Malga Ra Stua, continuing for another 30 minutes to Cianpo de Cros, the heart of the Ampezzo Dolomites Natural Park, it is possible to reach the spring of the Boite torrent.
A causa della pulizia dei boschi e dei pascoli (Curadizo) e di una corsa di beneficenza nella nostra zona, saremo aperti a pranzo solo con servizio bar, dolci e antipasti.
